An effortless cure for Splitting headaches Recently featured in the The Cottage Magasine, Vancouver,
Canada. May/June 2000. In theire 'Upfront' section, we read An effortless
cure for splitting headaches. The Smart Splitter was also featured in the Canadian Homes & Cottages, Volume 10, Issue 5, August 2000, in their Product Review section, we read " The Smart-Splitter is an improvement on one of the world's oldest tools, the axe. It was invented to produce effective log-splitting and be safe and easy for everyone to use. The tool strikes true, holding the log steady and driving the splitter repeatedly into the same place on the log. It is easy to use and kind to your back and shoulders, the manufacturer says. Developed in Sweden, the Smart-Splitter is now available in Canada from Silvana Import Trading.
Testimonials from clients: "I originally purchased six Smart Splitters, one of
which I displayed at the front of the store near the cashier area. I continuously
played the video demonstration and supplied logs to be split by customers
of all ages and genders. The video demonstration and the product sold
itself. Within one week we sold ten Smart Splitters and during the month
of December, we sold over 60 Smart Splitters alone. I soon realized what
we were selling was more than a necessity, more than a gift, we were selling
convenience. Michael Kokesh
" The Smart Splitter has been one of the best new products
to come along in a great while. I've sold around 80 units in the last
three months. It really helps to have the demo model out with some wood
to cut and have the video running. Its a great new product and sells great
too!"
" I must admit that when I saw your ad in Mother Earth
News, I was very skeptical. Since I recently had a couple of rather large
oak trees by my house cut down and it was my job to split the wood, I
thought I would give you guys a chance. Boy, am I glad I did! As soon
as the Splitter arrived, I made myself a base and set up the unit. "Just
for the fun of it", I split quite a bit of the logs. I'm 66 years
and my wife said that I would be sore in the morning. Not at all. I actually
had to fight off the temptation to split some more the following day so
that I could get some other pressing things taken care of. Thanks alot!
Great product. "
Our Swedish company A.G.M.A. was greatly honored this spring.
The King and Queen of Sweden stopped by the Smart-Splitter booth at an
outdoor trade show. The Queen was so impressed with the device that she
purchased two splitters. One for their summer home and one for the winter
home. That truely proves what we have known all along. This product is
"Fit for a Queen!"
I bought a Smart-Splitter last fall when Al Malmberg advertised
them on the Radio here in Minneapolis. I had the grandchildren over and
they all had so much fun splitting up my woodpile in the back yard that
I had to purchase a second splitter for them to take home! It really is
easy for everyone to use!
Last winter I was given a smart splitter as a gift. I must say it was the best Christmas gift I received. I am really in awe of the simple but effectiveness of the product. It is the epitome of good engineering design. I find it easy to use safe and very low maintenance. I believe it is the easiest splitter of anything I have ever used and by far the safest. It is the only splitter that I would let my wife or son use. I also like the fact that it easily splits kindling too. Keep up the good work and a big thank you for bringing it to us. Charlie Edwards
I like the splitter. I'd buy it again. Some of the reasons why: 1. It seems safer for my 10 and 12 year old to use
(with supervision) than their axes. (Shudder). It doesn't work as well as a gas powered splitter on elm/hickory...o'course I didn't pay that kind of money for a gas powered splitter. All in all, it works a bit better than expected. Steve Booth
I purchased a Smart Splitter a bit over a month ago and
I have to say that I'm really enjoying it. It's an amazingly simple yet
terribly effective tool. I'm mighty impressed! I've been telling everyone
I can about the splitter and giving demos. I had a neighbor who watched
me split some relatively -Phillip Kachelmyer
